Sail - learn - connect

The Cruising Yacht Association of Victoria is a group for people who love sailing. Our members are yacht and power boat owners who like to cruise.

We started in 1977, when Geoff Stewart formed the club with 40 keen sailors.

We meet to share stories, tips, and advice about boats and cruising. Our goal is to help each other enjoy safe and fun sailing trips.

Monthly Meetings

We meet 11 times a year at Bells Hotel in South Melbourne. Meetings are on the first Monday of each month at 8:00 PM, except for November, when it’s the second Monday.

Each meeting has a guest speaker and time to chat with other yachties. Everyone is welcome to come along.
